Silvertone Twin Twelve Combo Amp in LA for $500

This is a whole lot of vintage Tube amp for $500. The original 1962 Jensen Speakers make this a serious keeper - and check out that nice big fat trannie. Sweet. As long as the cabinet doesn't rattle it should sound pretty darn good.

Very rare 1962 Silvertone 1474 Twin Twelve COMBO amp. 4-6L6 power tubes, 5U4GB rectifier, 2-12ax7, 2-6cg7, 1-6au6. 2-12” Jensen P12Q speakers with original cones and matching 1962 date codes. A two channel, four input amp with tremolo and reverb. Tone is dark and smoky, and the amp is loud and soulful sounding. Plenty of headroom and a slow, sagging attack. A totally unique, very cool sounding vintage tube amp. Replaced two-prong power cord with safe grounded cord, replaced back panel sometime many years ago. Still has the original reverb tank, which is a miracle. Tremolo is very cool. Speakers alone prolly worth several hundered bucks. Call me for more info 310-. Thanks, Mick.
Here’s an idea about how this Silvertone amp sounds. Please bear with the guy’s noodling!:
